The Pottery

Ballymorris Pottery was established in 1994 with a new workshop opening in a renovated cart house in1998.

There is a small shop here where work in progress can be seen. All are welcome to visit, although we recommend that you phone first if making a special journey to see us. There is wheelchair access.

The Personnel

The pottery is run by Hannah Arnup, who studied both sculpture and ceramics, although much of her knowledge comes from her parents, both of whom are self employed artists (potter & sculptor).

She works with John Egan, who is also a Thatcher.

Both John and Hannah are registered craft workers with the Crafts Council of Ireland
